A SHORT TREATISE ON WHERE NOT TO BUY CDs:

This advice goes for buying any musician's albums, and not just Danny's. DON'T go buying your music from any of the giant online retailers, like Amazon or CDnow, or any of those others. The artists make roughly ZERO dollars off of each of those sales. None. Zip. Nothing. There's just too many middle people taking their little chunks, in between your wallet and the artist's wallet.

In that same regard, the artists make almost nothing from sales in traditional records stores. Anytime a distributor is involved, there's very little money left for the artist, by the time it trickles down. Although, at least record store sales support someone in your neighborhood who is running the store.

The best way to buy music is directly from the artist. Go to a concert and buy the album there. Or go directly to the artist's website and purchase it from them directly, or from wherever they suggest. This may be preaching to the already enlightened, as you happen to be at Danny's site directly, already.

The more directly you buy from the artist, the cheaper it's gonna be for you, too.
